Talking about Discounts and Sales in Chinese

Do those sale signs in stores confuse you? It’s kind of weird before you get used to it, but they’re basically the reverse of the same sign in English. For example, at a store in the US, a sign would say “10% off the original price.” Whereas in Chinese it would basically say “charge 90% of the original price.” Watch Lu Laoshi’s video for examples.
